1974 Porsche 911 that is set up for autocross/solo racing. It is licensed for the street as well. Multiple modifications have been made to this car to make it an ultra light (approx 2200lbs), quick, and responsive car. Exterior/body: No sunroof coupe, front bumper removed and replaced with RSR style fiberglass bumper from GT Racing with integrated splitter for additional downforce, rear bumper removed and replaced with fiberglass bumper from GT Racing, front fenders replaced with fiberglass fenders, rear wheel flares widened to slightly wider than carrera flares with fiberglass GT racing flares, rear turbo fiberglass spoiler. Minimal rust, with very solid structural components. This car was modified for serious driving, and the exterior shows the expected scuffs and stone chips. The paint is a mild gloss finish that is about 5 years old. I chose a less glossy finish so as not to distract from the incredible lines and proportions of this classic looking car. Interior: adjustable racing seats, 5 point Pyrotect harnesses, Weltmeister harness bar, Momo shift knob, Momo steering wheel, Momo pedals, Rennline aluminum driver side floor board, original RSR style dead pedal, interior gutted and back seats removed. The passenger side window crank does not work, but I have the parts to fix it. I only drive the car in dry weather, so have not had a need to fix it. Engine: 1979 3.0 SC engine. MSD ignition with Blaster SS coil, MSD tach adapter(not yet installed, tach does not work, but should with installation of adapter), high performance Magnecor wires, Weber carburetors, stainless steel headers(heat exchangers removed), Bursch free flow muffler(keeps noise within the 100db regulation for SCCA solo, but still has a magnificent growl), accessory compact oil cooler. Leaks a very small amount of oil when stored for winter. Great blend of performance and reliability. Transmission: Original 1974 915 5 speed transmission. Great low end power for autocross, cruises great at freeway speeds, or 100+ at the track. Brakes: Original brake set up. Had brake work a few years ago. Super blue fluid. Suspension: Front Bilstein heavy duty struts, Weltmeister adjustable front sway bar, stiffer torsion bars, strut tower brace, turbo tie rods, steering rack spacers. Rear Bilstein sport struts, Sway Away adjustable spring plates, Weltmeister adjustable rear sway bar, stiffer torsion bars. Upgraded performance bushings. Wheels and Tires: 2 sets of wheels and tires, including 16 inch Fuchs replicas(7 inch front, 8 inch rear) with Sumitomo HTRz 3 tires with 75%+ tread 225/50-16 front and 245/45-16 rear, and super light 3 piece wheels with Michelin road racing slicks(7 inch front, 8 inch rear). H&R spacers for rear. Additional extras: Front and rear tow/tie down hooks installed to make trailering safe and easy. I will include the Porsche custom car cover as shown in the picture. Multiple extra parts, tools, and hardware included. I have an enclosed 2009 Middlebury 20ft car trailer in excellent condition that I will sell with the car for an additional $3500 if desired. This is a fantastic and fun car, but it is 40 years old and has been extensively modified. It is NOT a numbers matching car. It is a great autocross and track day car, or could be modified for road racing with the addition of a roll cage. I am starting bidding at a reasonable price.
