Vehicle Detail
1935 Plymouth 4 door sedan for sale by owner.Body: A nice Colorado/Kansas vehicle, that is very dependable and runs strong; with a rich well-known four decade history. A "Resto Rod" originally rebuilt in the 80s as a street rod, it has been updated many times since. Never wrecked, never rusted, repainted two-tone blue. The speedometer is aftermarket, and therefore the mileage reading is inaccurate. Exterior features include recently re-chromed original front and rear bumpers, original factory-installed rear suicide doors, four new tires and an add- on receiver and trailer hitch for small trailers. A great value for the asking price! Drivetrain: Equipped with a fully rebuilt 1971 340 MOPAR engine with about 30k miles. Includes rebuilt heads and a balanced motor, a new MOPAR performance cam and lifters, Performance electronic distributor with control box, Aluminum intake, Chrome MOPAR goodies, Edelbrock 650 Carburetor. Rebuilt 727 transmission with shift kit. Headers with dual exhaust. Chassis: MOPAR front disc brakes, 5 inch drop tube axle, front MOPAR sway bar, power brakes with updated Vega steering box, cross-steer. Rear axle: Ford 9" rear end with 3.00 highway gears Oversized 30+ gallon all-aluminum custom gas tank Interior:"Ididit" brand tilt-column, "Lecarra" brand polished steering wheel,"Stewart Warner" Wings gauges with tachometer."Vintage Air" brand aftermarket R-134a air-conditioning system with heat. All-new interior, with aftermarket front split-bench seats. Seat belts for all four passengers. Conclusion:An all-around solid "Resto rod" with a full history and a great family car. Given that it would cost approximately $60k to build a vehicle like this today, it is a perfect vehicle for both the seasoned collector and someone looking to break into the hobby for minimal money.
