Up for auction is my old skool 1979 Jeep J10 pickup. This truck is a solid example of a rare truck. From the cab forward is extremely solid..as is the tailgate. The bed-sides have the typical rust issues. Both bed-sides have been repaired in the past by the previous owner. And will need to be redone again to look perfect. There is still a lot to work with and will make for an easy repair. The paint was done approx. 7yrs ago and is thin in spots from years of buffing. It still shines good for being a single stage paint. The interior appear to be all original with the exception of a cheap Jenson AM/FM cassette radio which powers up but doesn't seem to play tunes. I don't know--maybe Im just not pushing the right button. This truck features the older Gladiator Rhino nose whoever did it in the past did a really good job with this. I just drove this truck this past Sunday over 100 miles and it didn't miss a beat. The straight six ran like a champ.This truck gets attention wherever it goes. Plan on taking a few extra minutes in parking lots---someone always stops me every time a Lowes--HomeDepot or WalMart. This is a real fun truck to drive the way it sits or throw a few dollars at it and make it exceptional.I have owned vehicles in the past that cost $6000-$7000 that didn't garner the attention this J10 does. Newer off-road radial tires--Newer fuel pump---Newer carb---Newer radiator---2yr old WARN front locking hubs Engine runs great with no funny sounds--Transmission an clutch shift nicely Guage cluster was unhooked before I purchased this truck and has remained unhooked. Past owner marked "Mileage Discrepancy" on the title as he transferred it to me. Title is clean other than this.
