1968 Ford Mustang GT/CS 2-Door Coupe. Fully restored and in great shape. There were only 4,118 of these extremely rare, limited edition Mustangs produced. Came from the factory with Carroll Shelby parts and this one is autographed by Shelby himself (certificate included). A full restoration was performed in 2001 and few miles were put on it thereafter. Engine was rebuilt with Edelbrock carb, intake manifold, heads, push rods,camshaft and Crower performance components. The original engine parts are included too. The transmission and seals were replaced in 2009 by Poway Transmissions. The body was dismantled for sanding and painting, all weather stripping was replaced. Dash wiring was replaced at the time. The car was repainted #2041 Lime Gold Metallic (G505) from the original seafoam and new stripes were applied. The interior has been restored and is in excellant condition. A new AC compressor was installed and the AC system inspected and serviced in June 2010. Upper and lower arms and springs were replaced as well as the anti-sway bar. A Marti report verifying autenticity and documentation is attached. Vehicle was built in San Jose, California with the C-4 Cruise-O-Matic transmission, power disc brakes, power steering, Lucas driving lights, Selectaire air conditioner, alloy wheels, AM radio. This Mustang has lived in the San Diego area most of its life and hasd been stored in a climate controlled warehouse when not in use. The reserve is more than fair and I hope it finds a good home! It is a head turner!
