1969 AMX in good driving condition. The history as I know it...The car was originally green and at some point in an accident. It was obtained by an AMC dealer who also built race cars. In 1982 he rebuilt this car for his son but didn't want his son to have too much power and he put a 304 2bbl under the hood with a 727 style transmission and front disc brakes. He also used many 70's style AMC interior pieces. The car is not original but it is all AMC with "posi" style rear axle. Has 70's style steering wheel, left & right door mirrors, door panels, arm rest, door pulls, Pacer bucket seats and Marlin window cranks. The previous owner did a good job and I actually like the 70's interior pieces over the big Rebel style arm rests and flappy original door openers. Headliner is good. Rocker panels are good... not spongy. However it could use a "ground up" restoration or you could use it as a cruise night driver with some TLC. Heater core needs rebuilding, I never used the heater, so I forgot to fix that. Dash number is 10,828... only around 20,000 built between 1968-70.
