Honda Interceptor VTR 250 - Super reliable, fast, liquid cooled, smooth torque V twin, unique and different than Kawasaki Ninja 250! Even faster than new Honda CBR 250. I have owned 3 VFR 750, 800 and this VTR250 reminds me of a mini VFR Interceptor. I purchased this as a father daughter project. It was running driving when I bought it but we went through it for safety down to bare frame. Built back up with all new safety reliability parts - all friction material including clutch and brakes, new clutch cable, every engine hose has been replaced including fuel and coolant, new battery, plugs, ALL fluids new, everything cleaned with a toothbrush! This was done on a budget and safety was the priority so it has scratches, evidence of prior tip over on panels and bar ends, some body panel mounting tabs are cracked or missing, some body panels have hidden Velcro added for fit. It was blue originally and previous owner repainted in a modern yellow black scheme. There are some minor chips where you can see blue below. This is a really good 10 foot bike clean and attractive but up close it is poor paint. Front tire is brand new, rear is good for a season but then should be replaced. My daughter was good on a dirt bike and at 15 this was a perfect bike to learn on and get her license on at 16. She has moved on to wanting a car so we are selling the bike. It is safe enough that my 16 year old daughter and I went for rides and fast enough that she had no issues with keeping up with me on I35 or any back road. If you are up for a super light, unique, fast 250, super reliable Honda that will not drop in value AND understand it is 26 years old this is a great buy. Note that it has disk brakes up front even tough they look like drums they are not. I am in Des Moines Iowa, willing to bring to shipper to be shipped at your cost.
