This is a pretty much an original truck with what I think to be the original 230 6 cylinder engine and manual 3 speed transmission (shifter has been moved to the floor), manual brakes & manual steering. The interior has new carpet and door sill plates, new cover on the original seat, metal door panels, and floor & defrost heat only. All of the glass is in real nice shape with a new windshield. I lowered the truck about 3 inches in the front and 5 inches in the rear. The tires are new Coker classics L78-15 on the rear and G78-15 up front on the factory 15 x 6 steel wheels with 1952 Chevy dog dish hubcaps. Most all the electric stuff works. This truck has its share of 50 year old surface rust, rust holes and dents, however that’s what gives this truck a real cool look (Patina), as the pictures show there is rust in the rockers, fenders, cab corners, tailgate, bedsides and other places. Don’t be fooled by a few holes and the surface rust this is a really cool looking old truck with a good solid frame. You can drive this truck anywhere just pull the original manual choke out pump the gas twice let it warm up for 2 minutes and your off and running as long as you are not in a hurry as it’s a push to get to 65 mph down the interstate.
