The 1970 Mustang Convertibles are really hitting their stride in collector car circles and have become collectable and valuable, with very limited production (only 6,199 built in 1970), aggressive muscle car lines, and surging prices. This nicely restored, rust free Convertible has been built with the driving enthusiast in mind with power steering and the 5-Speed Tremec transmission; the rebuilt 302 V8 performs great; the car shifts thru the gears with authority and runs well down the highway with the top end gear ... and it sounds great with the new dual exhausts. This Mustang looks tough like it should, check out the front and rear spoilers - a great looking car for the collector. Very nice Mustang yellow exterior paint and cosmetics with the 302 Boss decal package, perfect road stance with the correct Magnum 500 Wheels, beautiful brand new Robbins convertible top, restored Corinthian interior...the list goes on and on... The paint is very nice as you can see from the photos; there are a few minor chips in several locations ... passenger door edge has some nicks which were touched up .... but the paint overall is excellent. The exterior trim, chrome and stainless are all in very good condition. It has a brand new top quality Robbins convertible power soft top and it works perfectly with a flip of the switch. New Corinthian Black interior upholstery and carpeting was installed recently and is very nice, and the car still has its original Philco AM Radio! The Mustang was originally air conditioned, but the compressor has been removed, so it’s an easy retrofit to add Vintage AC as the interior ducting is still all there.
