Vehicle Detail
1969 Ford F-250 Factory 4X4 (Highboy) Frame-Off Every Nut and Bolt Restoration! As you can see from the pictures, this is not your average 1969 Ford F-250. You are viewing the culmination of a 4 year restoration that got out of hand. It is an original factory lifted 4x4 known in Ford circles as a high-boy. The truck runs, rides and drives better than it did when it was new. The truck was completely disassembled to the bare frame. I have many pictures from start to finish, but limited to 24 on eBay. I suggest you click on the main picture on the upper left and then click through them. I am not sure what the slide show came from at the bottom, it just appeared. The truck has no miles on it yet, just around our complex to sort everything. The VIN is correct. Here is a list of what was done during the restoration: I am sure I will miss something, so take a close look and take a very good look at the pictures. The colors are the factory paint codes; Reef Aqua (which is a mid-tone turquoise), and Wimbledon White (an antique white) the paint is PPG Urethane Basecoat and Clear Coat over PPG DP-primer and PPG primer surface with a sealer. The interior was restored to factory stock Custom Cab appearance, with the exception of the seat which we color matched and upgraded the materials.Frame was checked for square and twist. It was excellent with no deviation from new. It was then sand-blasted and double powder-coated in semi-gloss black.New front and rear leaf springs were ordered to match the factory specifications and installed with all new spring hangers and Energy Suspension urethane bushings. Spring shackle and eye-bolts are new “grade 10” with grade 8 lock nuts. New HD U-bolts.Dana 60 front and Dana 40 rear axles had been previously rebuilt, however they too were disassembled, inspected, thoroughly cleaned and reassembled using all new parts except for the ring and pinions and axles which looked new. All nut, bolts, washers, bearings, seals, gaskets, steering knuckles, and bearings are new.New front and rear hubs and brake drums, axle bearings, races and seals. All new brake wheel cylinders, brake shoes, spring kits, adjusters etc. (note the only used parts are the backing plates which were rust free so they were restored to new.New OEM specs parking brake cables.Transmission (NP435) Disassembled inspected and restored.Divorced Transfer case (original) Disassembled, inspected and restored.New Warn Locking Hubs. Feel free to ask any reasonable question you might have. If you would prefer to talk, email me your phone number and I will call you. I have a tremendous amount of time, labor and money spent on the truck and I am pleased with the results. I believe someone out there is going to appreciate and enjoy owning it. Truck was last registered in Washington State and has a clear title. I may consider part trades, on 1920s to 1950s car, truck or vintage motorcycles. I will not disclose the reserve, so please don’t ask. supreme supremewidgets
Create Widget or customize colors.

supremeauctiononlinesoftware.widgets.FeedbackWidgetBasic.swf On Apr-03-14 at 10:52:50 PDT, seller added the following information: Dear interested folks. If you bid or hit the Buy it Now, That means you are ready to pay for the truck. It does not mean you then come look at it to decide. If you want to see it first that is fine. But do not expect to have it inspected, appraised or otherwise after the fact. Just wanted to clear that up. Also I require full payment via wire transfer to our corporate account or cashiers check within 3 days of auction end. Thank you
