You are bidding on: one owner, clear title, 2005 Ford F-150 XL with 4.6L V8. Corporately owned. I am selling on behalf of the business that purchased vehicle new and has consistently serviced at the local Ford dealership. Vehicle just passed annual NC state inspection, and is ready for a new owner. Truck is sold as-is, where is, with no warranty expressed or implied. Vehicle will also be listed for sale locally. However, once bids are received for this no reserve auction you are bidding to win. Please review the entire review of truck listed below in BOLD prior to bidding. Bidders with no prior feedback on eBay must contact before bidding, otherwise your bid will be removed. I've purchased several vehicles through eBay Motors, and realize how important an accurate description is when buying/selling a vehicle online. Although most vehicle purchase transactions have exceeded my expectations, there are unfortunately some sellers that will over promise, and under deliver. My objective is the opposite: to provide you with factual, non-biased information, and assist you throughout the purchasing process to ensure your new vehicle is equal to, or even better than your expectations. The review of the truck may be lengthy, but I want to give you as much information as possible. Inspections are encouraged, test drives are welcome, and I am available via e-mail or phone to answer any questions you may have. If local inspection or test drive isn't an option for you, I can provide a video of component of the vehicle you're interested in upon request. Having the opportunity to drive this truck for the last 1,000 miles on the odometer, I have been extremely impressed with the smooth ride, available power, and consistent reliability. I've met with the facilities manager responsible for the maintenance of all this corporation's vehicles, and have verified service has been performed on or before the suggested maintenance intervals at the local Ford dealership the truck was originally purchased from. Oil and filter were just changed, and there are no known mechanical issues. Primarily used to courier supplies from the business to urban areas, the majority of the miles are highway miles. This vehicle shows no signs of abuse. This truck is a great daily driver, work truck, or construction site workhorse. Cranks right up. Smooth idle. Engine is quiet. No knocks or strange noises. Steering is tight, suspension is firm. Accelerates smoothly with available V8 power, brakes with force. Truck sits on a matching set of Firestone Destination tires. More tread on back tires than front (see pictures) All lights, knobs, buttons, and levers function as they should. AC blows ice cold, heat is scorching hot. AM/FM stereo functions with no blown speakers. Wipers were just replaced, defrost function is impressively quick. Paint is overall in above average condition. There are the typical minor rock chips/dings that come with a pre-owned vehicle, but no major damage to any of the panels. There is a cap missing from the drivers side rail bed (see photo) There is a tear, and wear on drivers seat. (see photo) There are two noticeable dents in the tailgate, it appears they occurred when tailgate was down with weight applied and the bumper caused both dents (see photo) The steel wheels have no curb rash, but there are a few rock chips (see photo) There is a scratch on the drivers side of the lower bumper (see photo) Also, there are two scratches on the passengers side rear quarter panel. (see photo) I'm not sure if they will buff out, or will require touch up paint. This truck has not been professional detailed. Took the truck through a carwash prior to taking photos today. It cleans up well, and will look even sharper after waxing. I did not clean the engine off prior to posting, so that you have the opportunity to see what it looks like as-is. Usually, an engine that has been pressure washed or greased up is hiding something. Deposit is due within 24 hours of the auction end, and is non-refundable. Once payment in full is received, truck will be released for shipping or local pick-up. Title and bill of sale will be shipped via UPS with tracking number if vehicle is shipped, or executed in person if you prefer local pickup. PayPal, Cash, and Bank Certified cashiers check are accepted methods of payment.
