This is a world-class automobile....in 1997, and 2014! The exterior is in excellent condition. Absolutely no dents or parking lot door dings, and the brilliant finish is beautiful. Loaded with everything and it runs and drives superbly. This MB S500 has plenty of power from its monstrous 5.0 liter electronically fuel-injected V8 powerplant and has significantly more power than its S320 and S430 siblings (we know because we've had a couple of those in inventory over the past few month's as well!). And this powerplant is much more durable. Taking nothing away from those two engines and powerplants, but the 5.0 liter has been a staple in the Mercedes factory line-up for years and years and is legendary, both in performance and durability. Purrrs like a kitten.....but opens up like a tiger (a tamed tiger) when you hit the gas pedal. Everything works perfectly and properly, and we have just serviced this car. Its been garaged, and most likely the main reason for its excellent condition. The previous owner obviously loved their car, and it has been maintained to perfection. The Sales Manager at Delray Beach MB said this is the cleanest late-'90's S500 he has ever seen. He was amazed! I've also seen a lot, being a Mercedes and BMW specialty store, and a lot of trades come in, so with that comment, as well as our own overview, this is a nice, nice car that one lucky winning bidder will love owning!
