THIS IS THE THIRD TIME I HAVE LISTED THIS CAR. IF YOU ARE NOT SERIOUS ABOUT THE BID YOU PLACE THEN PLEASE DO NOT PLACE IT. PLACING A BID WHILE BLACKOUT DRUNK IS NOT A VALID EXCUSE. DON'T GET INTO A MOTORCYCLE WRECK AND SAY YOU WANT THE CAR BUT ARE INJURED AND UNABLE TO PICK IT UP. This is a 2008 Smart ForTwo that currently does not run. This is a complete car that was a daily driver until it was flooded. The car was flooded by Jordan Creek in NC. The high water mark just topped the battery. There are no signs of any water in the transmission or engine oil. The body is in very good shape but the drivers side mirror mount is broken (which you cannot tell in the picture). The codes can still be pulled and I know the last time codes were pulled it showed a fault with the pedal sensor switch. This car should be mechanically sound. There will be electrical issues. A video of the engine turning over can be seen on YouTube. During the video the starter was given 12V in order for the engine to turn over. The front tow bar package will not be included in the sale of the car and the pressure sensing valve stems on each wheel have been replaced with regular non pressure sensing valve stems. The interior is in good shape. This is the desirable version WITH THE 8TH DIGIT "X" IN THE VIN. Title is in hand and title is clear but I am unsure if your states DMV will require you to title it as a salvage vehicle when it is re-registered. Please ask ANY questions before bidding. Car must be picked up by purchaser in 22602. Deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE! PLEASE CONSIDER YOUR SHIPPING OR PICKUP OPTIONS BEFORE BIDDING ON THIS VEHICLE. ONCE AGAIN, THE FRONT TOW BAR IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION. IF THE TOW BAR IS NEEDED IT MAY BE PURCHASED IN ADDITION TO THE AUCTION PRICE FOR THE COST OF A REPLACEMENT TOW BAR.
