I bought this car with the intention of upgrading it to a 318 or 340. It does not have the original engine in it now, however, I have the original that will go with the car. (I think it got hot and cracked.) I removed the original engine, replaced it with a 225 later model, which I got from seller. We detailed the engine bay, went through the transmission, installed new bearing seals, detailed it and the shifter. It shifts smooth with no grinding or raking. It's off to a good start for someone. Front seats look like they came out of a ford or some other model, the are not original. Body has had work done years ago, don't know what all it would need for an upscale restoration, but it's all there. Floor pans, trunk and frame are impressive with no tale tales of anyone messing with them. Inner rear quarter panels have been patched. It looks as if the rear quarters have had something done as they're showing a few bubbles. Over all, a very good start for some one. I just don't have the time to finish her out. Good luck.
