2002 Saab 9-5 159K Silver Auto Needs Engine Work - Mechanic's Special Car runs rough - needs engine work and is missing passenger rear door molding. You can drive it onto a trailer but won't get you home. For parts or repair but body and interior really too nice to scrap. Didn't have the heart to take it apart. Relisted because someone who registered with eBay the day they made the purchase and with 0 feedfack clicked "buy it now" and never responded to eBay or my messages. ********* Lots of questions have come in about what engine work the car needs. I believe the car needs major engine repair or a replacement engine. It had the engine light come on although it doesn't always come or stay on. It runs rough and has slight knock on bottom end. I know some people with a similar symptom on these cars have gotten away with just cleaning out the sump and strainer and replacing the bearing caps but often you do that and the problem is not resoved. The price is low to cover what I consider to be the worse case scenario which is a complete engine replacement.
