Up for sale is my manual 1993 VW Corrado VR6. Body has 180k+ miles on it, VR6 engine has 65k+ miles on it. Still drive it so mileage may vary a bit. Less than a year old F1 clutch, K&N intake, and aluminum radiator. Less than a month old battery (alternator tested fine) and parking break. It does need a new muffler as you can tell by the pics. The leather interior, with heated seats, is in pretty good shape. It could use a re-stitching job, estimates i've gotten have been around 500$. All the rips as far as i've noticed (never been in the backseat)are along the seams where the stitches have given out. As you can tell from the base of the stick, the interior is original Karmann. The rear seats fold down w/o a problem. It has shaved door handles w/ a solenoid pump system which ejects the drivers door when the key fob is pushed. It will need new shocks sooner than later. Speed sensitive spoiler works and pops up at around 60mph. She is very fast (has chip installed), light weight (good fuel efficiency) and very rare w/the newer VR6 engine. Runs like a champ, responds with power, handles very well. I live in Wisconsin for shipping purposes, if need be have shipping arranged before you bid please. We're having a baby so the toy has to go as the coupe just won't work w/a baby, otherwise I'd fix her up completely and continue to enjoy the looks i get from this vintage car. Garage kept but i have been breaking the engine in, started all winter w/o a problem, even when it was -30 degrees out. I have the title in hand and she is all ready to go, would drive her cross country w/o a 2nd thought. $500.00 deposit required w/in 48hrs of auction close and remainder within 7days. Vehicle must also be picked up w/in a week from auction end, if you are shipping it I can wait a bit longer for them to arrive. However, full payment must be made before car is picked up.
