Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE This 1978 Mercedes Benz 300CD is ready to drive across the country. It is the nicest non-restored W123 I've seen on the road, period. It is in excellent shape partly in thanks to spending the majority of it's life garage kept, in the southeast, (mild weather, no elevation, no salt.). All the power windows work as well as the heat and AC (practically unheard of for these older models). AC has also been converted to R-134 from the old R-12 ($$$) and the compressor is really strong for cooling off in the hot days or defrosting in the cold mornings. All basic maintenance is up to date, fresh oil change, fresh fuel filters (all three), glow plugs, breaks, tires…and it is in no need of any repairs. Starts right up in the cold and will get you as far as you wish to take it. Pictures speak for themselves. It gets compliments everywhere I take it including the Mercedes mechanics and gurus. It has been babied, garaged, and finely tuned for many many years now. Interior is immaculate including the dash. It could use new weather strips around the windows to cut down on wind noise. There is an interior panel by the driver side feet that separated and broke recently (as shown in picture) which is pretty much the only thing keeping it from being in perfect condition. There is a stack of service records to go with it.
