1971 Chevrolet Chevelle Pro-Touring Project I am selling this vehicle because I have been out of work for a year and a half with an injury. I have 20k invested in this car but will take much less. This car was a frame off, rotisserie restoration that was stopped after all of the sheetmetal was repaired and the chassis was completed. The body has a complete new one piece floor pan from firewall to trunk. It has a new complete one piece trunk pan. Body has new doors, fenders, trunk lid, rear quarters, inner and outer wheel houses, inner and outer rocker panels, cowl panels and cowl hood. The body was sandblasted prior to the repairs and after repairs was primed with red oxide. The underside of the body has been completed, sealed and painted with satin black. The chassis was sandblasted and painted matching the underside of the body. The chassis was equipped with a full Pro-touring set up. The chassis has four wheel disc brakes with zinc plated drilled and slotted rotors. The calipers are powder-coated red and all brake lines are stainless steel. The front suspension includes tubular upper and lower control arms with adjustable coil over shocks (QA-1). all front end components are new using components by Hotchkis, BMR, Energy Suspension, Moog and Belltech. The rear end is a brand new Currie 9" with a Strange Engineering center section with .370 tru-trac posi. Rear suspension is coil springs with 2" drop with Hotchkis sway bar. The Body was secured to the restored chassis with Energy Suspension Body Mounts. The Car comes without and engine but does come with a Super-Cased Muncie 4 speed M-20 wide Ratio with hurst shifter. Transmission has been rebuilt to handle 500 plus horsepower. The car also comes with 4 brand new rims(Boyd Coddington Junk Yard Dogs). The front are 17's and the rear are 18's. I also have a brand new wiring harness and complete Flowmaster exhaust system. The car also comes with all of the original parts.
