Vehicle Detail
This 2001 Saab 9-5 has been my daily driver for 6 years. It has been reliable and fun. I just put new tires on the back and the front ones are 1 year old. The sunroof needs work, I have left it in the closed position for about a month because it does not close properly once opened. The seats are leather (and heated- work great!). I am not detailing this, due to time constraints, so it needs a good cleaning. The AC has not been charged ever, by me, because I don't use A/C in the mild climates I have lived in. I brought this car to Santa Fe from Colorado! It has just over 121000 original miles on it. Lately, it has been giving me issues (white smoke from the tailpipe) that could be a head gasket or a turbo or it might need a thorough tune-up. I recently had spark plugs placed so who knows? It runs rough so it can literally be about anything, the Oil Change guy told me the oil was dirty so maybe a head gasket? It starts and runs but, since it is not insured, a test drive is not possible. It can easily be driven onto a car dolly or trailer for transport to your shop! Starts like a top! This car is 13 years old and has another 1-200,000 miles in it if properly fixed, maintained and driven. In prime condition, the power on this engine is amazing and impressive. In excellent running condition, the KBB on this car is about $5000.00. in this condition, needing sunroof, minor repair near the gas cap (pictured), A/C and engine attention, I am starting this at $1500.00 OBO. The new tires were $180 (receipt available) so heck, start your offers at $500! I will literally take the highest offer placed by end of sale, I need this out of my small parking area (it's Santa Fe!). AS IS, I am describing this car accurately, it needs mechanical work that I am not willing or able to do myself. Put a few hundred $$ into this car and Bam! You have a great daily driver. Again, as is, no warranty, no promises, just a classic SAAB in need of TLC. Please see the pics.
