Offered is a non-molested 1971 TR6. I have had the car for a number of months. I purchased it form an elderly couple that could no longer drive the car. It was originally purchased for her on her B-day. I think they had the car for approximately 15 years. It is very clean and not a rust bucket. No body rust! When I got the car the clutch worked till I got it in the garage which was good. Since then it has been brought back to an OEM status and works great. I replaced the cross shaft, bushings, fork for throughout bearing ,pressure plate and disk along with new slave and master cyl. Rebuilt the pedal cage to remove all of the play in the system. It functions perfect. Next was to straighten out the lights and wiring. I pulled the dash out and shift console to have room to work. While they were out I stripped and refinished the dash with automotive urethane. The console was recovered and I left radio hole covered. I figured who had the car next would add a nice sound system. Replaced old antenna with a hideaway one so car cover would fit. The great thing about this TR is it does not leak oil. There are still items that the car will need in time; it is a 40 year old vehicle that has not been messed with. But nothing that I know of right away. I am not a TR expert but have enjoyed learning about the British cars. I am selling it to make room for my ongoing project of love a 1974 Toyota Land cruiser. This is a good solid TR and is fun to drive and is eye catching. The top is in good shape but there is a small tear on the left side. Please contact me via email for questions.
