1974 Honda CB400F 400-Four 8415 Original Miles Frame Number: CB400F-1037320 Engine Number: CB400FE-1037425 For your consideration is this 1975 Honda CB400F in Excellent Original Condition! Gently Used Low Mileage Bike that has been Well Cared For and Correctly Stored. The mileage appears correct, with minimal signs of use or wear. The bike has NOT been restored, only well cleaned and waxed. It's not perfect, but close - with few notable items. The Originality is exceptional; every sticker and tag is present and crisp, the factory Quality Control paint daubs intact, and even the tires and tubes are original (possibly some genuine Japanese air still inside)!. This bike would do justice to the finest collection, discerning "F" enthusiast, or investment portfolio. The chrome is bright and clean, and there is no fade or discoloration on the painted surfaces; the vibrant red almost hurts your eyes. The exhaust is exceptional, with no rash. The plastic and rubber bits are soft and pliable. The cycle runs and rides good, everything works, and no leaks (except seepage around the tach drive); fluids and battery are fresh. This first year model still has the pre-recall thumb latch on the gas cap, and an unused original tool kit. There is a slight dent in the tank from where the throttle pull-cable hit, and a scuff in the finish immediately below from the push-cable (see 3-view pic). The front fender has a wrinkle in the blade on the right top, and a scrape on the bracket (see arrowed pic). The Right Side Cover has a Repaired Crack (see pic). The starter button has been repaired with a non-standard fitment. The mirrors are unknown aftermarket items. There is no owner's manual. Sold With Clear Title.
