Offered for sale is a 1998 Jaguar XJ8 with 183,217 miles. The body and undercarriage of the car has some rust, as can be seen in the pictures. The engine was replaced by Jaguar at about 80k miles, and the transmission was also replaced at 100k. I have used the car for the last few years. The car ran and drove fine until last week, when the left rear hub bearing failed in the hub carrier and the wheel now wobbles excessively, so it is not currently drivable. There is an issue with the electrical system, as the engine warning light, traction control, stability control, and ABS lights are all on. The speedometer does not work, but the odometer still logs mileage. The rest of the gauges work fine. The windshield has a crack along the bottom of the glass. The aftermarket radio and speakers have been removed. The car was painted at some point, and some of the paint is chipped off of the front and rear bumpers.The Bridgestone Potenza tires were put on new this summer. Engine oil and filter were just replaced at 183,000 miles. The A/C, heater, heated seats, and sunroof all work. This car can either be repaired and driven, or could be used as a parts car.
