1984 VW RABBIT GTI Straight body, highly collectible classic VW in the sought-after GTI trim. This Rabbit GTI has been sitting for quite some time so this is a restoration project sold as is. The car ran just a few years ago. It needed rear brakes but otherwise ran well. It sat in the driveway for a few years until now. I cannot get it to start and I believe it is a seized fuel pump. Motor turns over freely. It has a brand new battery, I replaced the rear drum brake shoes, springs, and cylinders so they are new. It has: Enkei 15 inch wheels Bilstein shocksNew batteryNew rear brakesand maybe some other high performance parts. The interior is not very good and will need some work. The driver's side window does not close. Passenger door lock needs replacing. There are other issues with it but any handy VW guy could get this car running. Local pick up only or you arrange for transporting it. It is located in Seattle WA in the north end of town.
