Vehicle Detail

Central Valley Classics Classic Restorations & Cars For Sale Fresno, California Helping people buy their dreams for over 20 years We are proud to offer this special vehicle for auction! GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY BIDDING! 1974 Plymouth Duster Project VIN - VL29C4G254361 Original 225 6 cyl Engine (gone) Original 3 speed Manual Transmission (gone) Radio Delete Manual Steering Manual brakes SBP Rally Wheels I am selling my 1974 Duster project as I just don't have the time to get back to it. The car came with a 6 cyl, 3 speed on the floor and radio delete. This car only has 46K original miles on it, I got it from the son of the original owner when they took his keys away at 92 years old. It is wearing much of the original paint and was no rust anywhere on the body. The interior was all original down to the rubber floor covering, I drove the car for about a year before deciding to upgrade it. The engine and transmission are gone and I have a low mile rebuilt 440 with a good A833 4 speed that go with the car. The engine was pulled from a 69 Roadrunner because it wasn't a 69 vintage block but it ran strong. I have replaced the rear end with an 8 3/4 and have a 489 housing, 3.55 w/ Sure-Grip included. I also have a rear end out of an Imperial with all the rear disc brake parts that bolt right on the 8 3/4, all that is needed is new axles. The brake parts for the rear are all available new if any are needed. There is a big block spool mount K-member (DC style), NOS motor mounts, 4.5" bolt pattern disc brake conversion parts, SSb lines, proportioning valve, poly front end and rear spring bushings, It comes with the sbp rally's on it and I have 2 bbp TT2 skinny's for the front I will include. This is a factory floor shift car so it already has pedals and hump. I have a bunch of other misc parts to include as well, you will only need exhaust, radiator and a few misc pieces to complete. The original bench was removed, it was converted to bucket seats with correct floor reinforcements and has new upholstery, carpet and door panels. I was trying to refinish the bezel but didn't get it done but I have the new wood grain for it. The instrument cluster was disassembled, painted white inside and it has white gauges overlays and I installed red back lighting. All the factory gauges were working and everything is cleaned up inside. I also found a perfect dash pad, I had a guy mix up some dye but it is a little off in color so would need to be shot again. The headliner is in good condition but has a small area that got scratched so it could be dyed as well. All the glass is good with a few light scratches on the driver door glass only. The body is absolutely rust free, barely any surface patina anywhere on the car. It did have a small accident in the right front corner so it carries a salvaged title, all that was replaced was the fender, grill and hood. I was lucky enough to find a parts car with the same original paint so you can't even tell. I added fender turn signals as the replacement fender already had it. There are a few dings on the rear quarters on both sides because the previous owner bumped the sides of his car port a couple of times, probably should've stopped driving sooner.I don't think you'll find a cleaner Duster with factory pedals and floor hump that is ready to mold into your personal vision of a resto-mod. I have the title and the car is on a non-op on the registration, it does say salvaged because of the damage to the front exceeding the value by the mainstream insurance company. I have acquired most of the more difficult parts so it's ready for someone that has time to finish it. I am going to kick myself down the road for selling it but I am just too busy to finish it. I know I probably missed something, so ask questions if there something I didn't cover. I tried to show the important things in the pictures and have additional pictures so send me your email address if you want to see something in more detail. The Buy-It-Now is set at what I feel the car with all the parts is worth, I know I have more in it but that's the way things work. I welcome inspections. The winning bidder will receive clear title California title and all the parts for the car. I can assist with arranging shipping to your location or make recommendations for shipping, of course it can be picked up in person after I have received funds. Terms and Conditions Of The Auction The winning bidder agrees to provide a $500 deposit within 24 hours of the close of the auction, the balance is due within 7 days. The balance is to be paid through a bank transfer. Please don't bid if your funds are not readily available, if you are applying for a loan please give the bank ample time for an inspection. The auction is to purchase a car, the winning bidder is entering a contract to purchase this car and not to look it over after the purchase, please arrange any inspections before auction end.
