For sale is a 2006 VW Jetta TDI and it has to go because I'm moving. If you are not familiar with the Mark 5 Jetta sedan, it is worth doing some research (although since you are reading this, I guess you already know what I good car this is). There are many useful features like the split folding rear seats, child restraint seat anchors, cold weather package -climate control and heated front seats & mirrors as well as fantastic fuel economy and comfortable performance. It is a great looking, riding and driving car and it handles well in the snow with the ESP control and a set of tires with plenty of tread. Just got it reinspected last week and there were no problems. It has aftermarket fog lights, a backup camera, aftermarket headunit, but the original is included. Has USB port and audio jack so you can connect iphone or android. The radar detector is not included. I consistently get 44 mpg hand calculated and it makes it cheap to drive. The 5 speed manual is a more rare option and it helps the mpg. As far as I know the clutch was never replaced, but I have not had any trouble with it. The timing belt, tensioner, idler pulley, waterpump, and serpentine belt were all replaced around 8k miles ago as a preventative measure, which is a huge cost savings. Oil and filter always replaced before the manufacturer recommended 10k with Rotella T6 synthetic oil. Any defects are highlighted in the video, I am being as honest as possible in my representation of the car, but I would recommend you look at the video or stop by to check it out in person and take it for a drive! There are a few paint chips, the blower sometimes squeaks, the headliner is falling down a bit, a dent on the right underside from a lift (not very visible), and some small bubbling on the left front fender. The bubbling should be replaced by VW under warranty as they have a 10 year paint warranty. Aside from the chips these problems are basically known VW issues. The title is clear and in hand.
