I purchased this car a few years ago and have been nursing it back to life. It is a great car that unfortunately I can no longer keep. The Pros Timiming belt was done Catalitic converter was changed Sparks plugs and wires Radiator Rebuilt transmission New battery The Cons Bumper is a diffent color, I bought it like that. Needs flat black spray. Needs suspension overhaul. I've changed a few things but it still needs work. Transmission was rebuilt incorrectlly so it changes hard some times from 1st to 2nd but after that it runs great. There is a check engine light as a resault of the transmission fault. So it won't pass emission. Rear brake light works when it wants too Drivers power seat works for 15 seconds when the car is first turned on 4 wheel alighnment Brakes and rotors need replacing Ttwo rear tires (because of alighnment) Figure you spend $1500 on all the parts and labor excluding the transmission (tranny isn't as bad as it sounds, you'll get used to it after a while) and you have youself and awsome car. Really. I noticed the car fax has 2 accidents listed. When I purchased this vehicle, I was aware of the front bumper damage. Only the bumper cover was changed because the old one was cracked on the side. While Parked someone knocked off my passanger mirror and the mirror scatched the door. The upper part of the door was painted. The rest of the car has original paint. As for the other accedent, I was driving with my family in the car and some crazy lady side swiped me on the left rear quarter and door. It was so minor I wasn't going to report it, however, the lady started yelling at my wife, kids and Police officer taking the report. For this reason only was why a police report was made. The lady was arrested for disorderly conduct, then later for insurance fraud. I didnt have to fix the vehicle, there was no visable damage. I just washed it! You can see the picture, only scuff marks remain. The engine, body and interior are in good condition, everything else; with the exceptions of the above mention issues; are in good working order. Even with those issues, this Volvo never left me stranded. I own 4 other cars (911, Boxster, S80 and Allroad) but this is my our 1st choice in travel. The car runs nicest on the open road and its very comfortable. I will help with anything I can. Good luck biding and keep in mind that I'm flexable with the price. All offers will be considered.
