1981 BMW R100cs in Pacific Blue metallic w/silver stripes. Brakes and shocks are good, tires are new. This bike is well sorted out and runs like new, will run at freeway speeds all day long and give years of riding pleasure. Starts easily w/choke and eases down to a smooth idle when cold. There is a small dent in one of the mufflers. This bike is not perfect but darn near show quality. I have a couple of 2 minute videos.....1 w/bike running static &the other a 360*. The engine VIN is 6188120 which made this the 120th imported that year. The matching frame was damaged(not "totalled")by the previous owner but not repaired or replaced. I, in turn purchased an identical year('81)frame and swapped ALL cs components onto this frame #622035. The "matching numbers" frame is available to the winner if he/she wishes to have it repaired. Recent maintenance performed include front fork seals and pushrod tube seals replaced,carburetors syncronized. This bike is "high & dry" and performs flawlessly. I would not hesitate to ride this cycle across country on given notice. It is lovely!
