Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a 1969 Lincoln Continental. This car was recently pulled out of a barn where it has sat for the last 30 years. When the car was parked 30 years ago it was in good running and driving condition. This is truly one of those stories you hear about a car being in a barn for all of these years and now it has come out of the barn and is up for auction. After setting all of these years the car is currently not in running or driving condition. Before being put back on the road it will need brakes, a turn up (at minium if not a little more) and general maintenance. Please keep in mind it has been in a barn and mice have gotten up in the car and chewed on some of spark plug wires and things. Overall the body is in decent shape. There are some minor dings and dents here and there but nothing to bad. The lower part of both rear quarter panels do have rust, but nothing major some patch panels won't fix. The under side of the car is solid. The trim on the car is in good shape. This alone is worth quite a bit. If you try to go out and find these trim pieces it can get expensive fast. The interior of the car is not to bad, it does have what appears to be a burn hole in the rear passenger seat about 1-2 inchs long. The head liner has a couple of small holes near the sun visors. The dash pad has a crack near the front speaker. The car will currently roll, but not under it's own power. The car is not in running condition at this time. It will require a wench to load the vehicle. This car would make a great restoration project and not require a tremendous amount of work. This vehicle is being listed with no reserve, so if you do not intend to own the car please do not bid on it. The car will go to the highest bidder. For some reason on other Lincolns I have listed people do not seem to understand this. So again if you do not attend to own the car DO NOT BID ON IT. I can help you or your shipper load the car, but as I said before you will need a wench to load the car. If you have any questions please call 9130636-3469. I perfer a casher check, money order, or cash in person for the payment. The vehicle will not be shipped until the funds have cleared the bank. I will also hold the title until the funds clear. A $500.00 deposit is required within 48 hours of the sale. This car is listed for sale locally. Thanks for looking at the vehicle. A question came up if the motor would turn over. The answer is yes, the motor will turn over by hand with a wrench. Sorry I did not put that in the desription.
