Vehicle Detail
1969 Honda CL350 K1 Scrambler Mostly original. Has 40K miles, original engine. Original exhaust pipe and front fender with reflector. This bike has been my daily transportation for five years--it still is but I'm moving to the opposite coast, so I've decided to sell her. Far from showroom quality, so if appearances are your thing, you probably won't be interested--unless you want to restore her shiny good looks. Lots of rust (her name is Rusty Ruby). Please look closely at the pictures--rust, dirt, and oil. I could give her a good scrubbing before I sell her, but I don't really have the time. She needs a lot of little TLC work, but no major mechanical work that I know of. This bike always starts up. I was out of town for over two weeks in November. She sat unused on the street that entire time. Started right up when I got back. Needs the rear turn signal brackets replaced--the turn signals work, but I have them wrapped up in a towel and bungee cord. I bought new brackets (with signals attached) on eBay and those are included with the sale. There are a couple of bolts missing from the exhaust. I have it attached in those places with wire. Also included: another original CL350 seat (needs recovering). Another wheel and tire. Registration is current and good through February 2014. Sold as is, where is. Must pick up the bike in San Francisco. I will not ship it. Pay with cash, cashier's check, or via PayPal within three days of auction's end. I have this bike listed for sale locally, too, so auction may end early if someone buys it before this auction is over. Thank you. P.S. This bike received regular maintenance from a mechanic who only works on old Hondas. The bike had a total and brand-new rewiring last year.
