Vehicle Detail
Good afternoon Where to start, this truck was bought by my boss of 12 years brand new in 2000. It's a loaded SLT with 160k, leather (heated seats work, as does everything) with the 3rd row seat. Cold A/C, cruise, power windows, Bose Stero sounds great. 4x4, power moonroof, and so on. The vehicle was well maintained and these 5.3 v-8's will run 300k no problem. It's all orig, stereo, wheels and so on as it was adult owned. The paint is very nice as the pics (from 11-22-13) show. Has tow package, all the accessories listed work fine. As he put it when he sold it me "I would drive it to CA tomorrow". As it made many trips to WV with the last few years for collage moves. All around this is a good clean truck. $ wheel drive works great. I listed it as one owner as it's like family and I only bought it a few months ago. Long story is I just came into some money that wasn't expected for a few years. So I'm selling this to buy a 2013 Avalanche, if you don't know Chevy's last year for the Avalanche is 2013, so I need to make this happen quick as there already hard to find and it was always my favorite SUV PLEASE READ MY FEEDBACKS AND BID WITH CONFIDENCE. Since 2003 I have sold over 30 vehicles on E-bay,( Corvettes, Harleys, My last Avalanche, Bronco's and Snowmobiles and so on. My Feedback 100%. That being said, lets remember this truck is being sold as is and is 14 years old. Let go over needs and problems so you have the whole picture. Remember when you buy a used truck you will find issues, I want to tell you what ther are so you know what you have. (that's why my feedback is 100% The power mirrors don't work, there a small dent in the left rear corner that bent the bumper a little, see pic, the pistons that hold up the rear hatch bleed off after a few minutes ($45 for new ones) The tires are about 70% warn ( again it doesn't need tires now but it will 8k. Mechanic said it will need a few brake lines at some point, I changed a few already. There's a VERY SMALL exhaust leak when the truck is cold. The paint pealed in a spot on the rear hatch, see pic. The drivers seat has a 1" rip on the side (see pic) Other then that it's a good clean truck.. ! day in your garage or at your machanic the truck is mint. A deposit of $500 is due with in 12 hrs of the end of auction and the balance would be cash upon pick up in the local police station parking lot (to keep all parties honest and safe) I always do this with vehicle sales on internet as I don't know you and you don't know me. I have vehicle for sale locally and I may end auction early if there are no bids at that point. Good luck, this will be a good truck for some lucky winner. On Dec-28-13 at 07:40:26 PST, seller added the following information: 12-28-13 I purchased the factory GM pre bent brake line kit and ordered the rear hatch pistons, they will be included in the sale. On Dec-29-13 at 17:45:21 PST, seller added the following information: Folks I'm getting alot of questions asking if the truck is drivable and so on. Like I advised before, I have 100% feedbacks because I want you to know it all. It seems I may have made the truck sound not as good as it is. It's a 4th vehicle to me, last weekend I drove it 600 miles to the Adirondacks, the week before 250miles to my hunting club in PA with out any issues, I would drive it to CA tomorrow. I live in an apartment. If I have a garage here and a few free hours I would just fix this stuff myself and ask 5500-6000 for the truck. Somebody's is going to drive a good truck away, after fixing the above listed items it will be a great truck and serve it's new owner for some time I'm sure. Thanks, hope that helps.
