NO RESERVE You're looking at a 1947 plymouth special deluxe hot rod. It has a ford 302 engine, c4 transmission, mopar 8 3/4 rear and 12volt alternator/battery. It runs well and everything works, except the wiper motor is slow(vacuum). Overall the body is decent with the exception of the rocker areas, especially the inner parts. There is filler on the fenders, mostly bottom of back of front fenders. The hood, doors, trunk lid are really good with little to no filler. The frame has some patches but nothing really huge. The trunk and interior floors are good. The plymouth moves right along nicely with the 302 that was rebuilt at sometime in the past with a bigger cam and intake,carb, etc....The transmission shifts good. It is very driveable. Interior is original and better than normal for how old it is, the dash is really nice. Things to mention: Two small cracks in driver side windshield at bottom, tires show signs of dryrot(old), one hole in the headliner, some tears in the front seat, paint scrapes, some surface rust spots and dented left rear fender. There is a new radiator. The stainless is very nice, chrome is decent. Overall this is a nice start for a hot rod, it should be gone through for paint and drivetrain detailing etc...the nice thing about this car is that its together and you don't have to search for parts. The horns work, speedo works, heater works, fuel gauge works, e-brake works, turn signals and dome light works. If you can, stop by and check it out. I'm trying to get some room in my shop, so it's up for auction. It would be hard to find another like it for the starting price.
