Up for auction is a 1958 Very Original Corvette in Show condition (Not Trailer Queen) !!! It had been with the same owner for Over 35 years (Ex GM Executive). Previous owner had stated the car Had Frame off Restoration back in the late 70's. From the looks of it above I would say he may be correct...the underside has seen 3600 local miles to shows...and it appears pretty normal now with dirt, dust, and light surface rust. It has only had 3600 miles placed on the car since it was done. The Car Still Looks Fantastic...They did a GREAT Job !!! Show Car Ready !!! Original 283 Motor, 245HP, and 4 speed Transmission and well as numerous other componants. Original T-3 headlights. The Paint stills shows Excellent with only a few chips on door edge and from driving and use. Chrome is all Bright and in Excellent condition. Interior Is excellent as well...No Rips or Tears in seats, carpet, Door Panels, or Dash pads. Newer cassette Radio work well. Body Lines Are Excellent !!!...Staright !!! Fits are awsome !!! Engine compartment Detailed for Show...But does show some dirt as the car is driven from show to show. Same as the underside. Underside is Not Detailed. Window Glass is original and mirrors are Clear and clean. Tire are in Great shape with 90% tread still on them...They had been replaced over the last 30 years...recently. Car runs, Drives and shift Great !!! You can take Directly to your Next Car Show....It is Stunning !!! The car was believed to be an Ordered unit. It has heater delete and a Hard top. The car did not come with a Rag top...No holes in Body Panels. All Gages work Perfectly !!! Instrument Panel has recently been taken out and all of the lenses Cleaned Crystal Clear !!! Horn, Lights, Turn Signals, Brakes all work as they should. Looks Like Original Spare and wheel. Newer Battery. Recently tuned up with Points, Plugs, Timing, and Oil changed. Frame has surface rust only as well as dust and dirt from driving. No evidence of Body or Frame Damage. Hard top was ordered and is in good Shape...could be cleaned/spruced up a a bit...also side Plexi-glass windows have fogged up. You may or may not want to Change out. Come with a Car Cover.
