Up for auction is a 1964 Lincoln Continental. This vehicle was recently pulled out of a barn where it had sat for the last 25-30 years. The barn did have a dirt floor but the car under side was not setting on the floor of the barn. The car was in running and driving condition years ago when it was parked in the barn. Now since it has sat all this time it will need brakes, a tune up and some general maintenance before being put back on the road. Currently the car is not road worthy until these things are fixed. The engine in this car is free and is able to be turned over on the crankshaft with a wrench. This car is truly one of the barn fines you hear about. All the trim is in good condition along with the glass. The under side of the car appears to be solid other than the driver side floor pan. The car will need a driver side front floor pan. The car is complete and not missing anything. This is worth quite a bit. If you try to go out and find these trim pieces for these cars it can get expensive in a hurry. This dash in this car is in excelent shape. Overall the interior is in good shape other than the driver side of the seat is cracked. It appears at some time the drivers front door was replaced and repainted. I do not see any evidence that the car was ever in an accident, it just looks like the door was replaced. The car will roll but not drive under it's own power. It will have to be loaded with a wench. These cars are very heavy. This car would make an excellent project and would not require a tremendous amount of work to restore it. Overall the body is in good shape there dosn't appear to be any rust holes in the body panels, only some surface rust hear and there. The bumper will need to be redone. The mileage is showing 6267 but I am sure it has rolled over. This car had no reserve and will go to the highest bidder.
