Vehicle Detail

1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 See Video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xieK20cNecU&feature=youtu.be (sorry, had to relist because I entered an incorrect VIN #) Tuxedo Black 19/19, (vin #756 i believe translates to bucket seats) 454 Big Block Engine (#14015445) Rebuilt Engine, 2,100 miles since rebuild Turbo 400 Automatic Transmission, Staple Shifter Functioning Cowl Induction Hood with flapper Holley Carburetor (#10569) & Mallory Ignition (see pic)Edelbrock Performer 2-0 manifold (see pic) SS Gauge Package with Tach in uncut very nice dash Hooker Headers, Dual Exhaust and SS tips 12-Bolt Posi-Traction Rear (#3959038 NF), don't know gear ratio Power Steering, Power Disc Front Brakes, Desirable working Tilt Wheel Boxed Control Arms, F41 Suspension 18” Boss Custom Wheels, 255/45/R18 99H Continental tires, wheels are super-clean! Solid Floors & Trunk, Original pattern Black Bucket Seats, Newer carpet Restored Delco AM/FM Stereo, 4 brand new speakers (2-front, 2-rear are Polk; professionally installed) New Dash Cover, New Deluxe Stereo Package Tray - professionally installed Drives and handles smoothly, shifts nice, sounds great! Specifics:No build sheet. Motor is non-matching numbers. Previous owner stated odometer was reset when engine was restored.I don't know the specs of the engine rebuild, prior owner did not disclose. Sold As-Is, no warranty. Seller reserves the right to terminate this auction at any time as vehicle is being sold locally.I have described the car to the best of my knowledge. As with any purchase, I recommend inspecting the car in person. Misc:I purchased and installed a Chevelle Battery Cover, (Delco R59, top post) from Original Parts Group that cost $75.00 USD Part ID: CH23630 to give the battery that original look. The battery is strong and is in good shape and did not need to be replaced when I purchased the car originally. But if you want, you can purchase a restoration Delco battery from http://www.restorationbattery.com/ if you want a reproduction battery without using a cover. Additional: 1) for those of you that asked, yes, the tilt wheel works!2) the AM/FM radio may be from a 1971 Chevelle, but regardless, I had it repaired and restored for a 4-speaker setup. 3) the clock does not work, only the second hand moves; in the spring I was going to restore to a quartz clock. (original parts group sells a kit), or you can try http://www.tachman.com/gm.htm, or http://www.redlineg.com/redlineg/Welcome.html (i am not endorsing these companies but they are worth a look, you can do your research at http://www.chevelles.com/
