I am listing this hard to find 1956 Plymouth Savoy 2Dr. Sedan for a 70 year old friend of mine who is selling car because of health reasons. This is a very nice car that can be picked up and driven home. The motor is a flathead 6 cyl. with a push button dash mounted automatic transmission. The motor and trans. had a complete out of frame rebuild in 2006. less than 400 miles put on car since rebuild. 5 new Firestone 2 3/4 inch bias whitewall tires. Rechromed front and rear bumpers. New brakes and wheel cylinders, Seat bottoms and back inserts have been recovered in OEM material. New rubber floor mat. All gauges and lights, emergency brake and wipers are in working order. The radio has been replaced with a vintage look alike am-fm-cd player that fits the uncut dash. paint and body are in very good condition . One repaint in 1987. This car has spent most of its life in storage,40 years. Original jack and spare are still in trunk This is a numbers matching car. Also included is original manual, warrantee, and over $10,000.00 in receipts invested since 2006. Color of car is red and white. No dents or visible rust. This is a great cruiser or car you show. Also you can drive it to the show. The car is for sale locally also.I have a right to end auction early if car sells locally.
