Up for sale is my BMW 740il with 199k miles. The last time I drove the car it gave me a "check oil pump" and "low oil pressure" warning along with some noise coming from the engine. To me it sounded like either the oil pump went bed or the oil pump bolts got loose and the pump got displaced. Common problem on these engines as I read on online forums. It has been a great car for the last 60k miles but I just don't have time to fix it. Lots of new suspension parts. Whole new front linkage and some of the rear. Just before it had the oil pump issue I replaced the high pressure power steering hose and a camshaft position sensor. The transmission was perfect and never had any issues. I also installed the LED angel ayes and it looks great on a white car.
