Vehicle Detail
1969 Dart GTS 383 4Speed, 83/4 rear axle. A numbers matching, real GTS car.(LS23H code) Solid car in need of resto. Frame rails and floors are mint! 100% rock solid. Same owner for last 35 years. Stored in dry indoor garage since the 1980's. The original #'s matching, standard bore 383 big block is all there. Only the gear box (transmission) and exhaust manifolds are missing. The bell housing is included. Car is very solid, very straight, has never been hit. All the panels and doors and fenders line up nicely with nice even gaps. There is zero rust any where! The doors and bulge hood and floors are beautiful. The only trouble spot is the spare tire area in the trunk pan. (see pics) very easy fix. All trim, mouldings, door rubbers and etc. are in great shape and all included. Car had factory quarters installed years ago. Done properly. All vin #'s and id tags, fender tags are intact. Broadcast paper sheet is long gone. please contact with any and all questions. I can help with local shipping, and deliver this car with in 200 or 300 miles for a small cost. Thank you. More pictures to come.. for some reason the pictures went missing on my listing. SorryOn 29-Nov-13 at 05:43:58 EST, seller added the following information: Four wheel drum brakes. Small bolt pattern 5 on 4". 79300 original miles as shown on the odometer. The original Y2 yellow paint can be seen still on the floor pans in the rear seat area. All the rust areas are light surface rust only. All the usual trouble spots are totally solid. The only rust issue is the very bottom of the spare tire area in the trunk. Very easy fix. The car was driven last in the mid 1980's as an automatic. All the original 4 speed components are included..except the trans. Also included are three or four nice grills, two gts trunk panels, and all kinds of odds and ends for this car. the 383 is dismantled down to the short block. Heads and intake removed. The engine was running and driving when pulled. It has never been bored over. The car has cut outs where the fender wall headers exited, luckily though the original owner kept the pieces and they can be welded back in no problem! This is a super rare, big money Mopar. Not junk.
