Here's the story. 1971 Chevelle was a barn find 20 years ago. It is a TRUE SS, NOT A CLONE! I've had it since I was 17. When I got the car it didn't have a motor or tranny. My son and I were going to fix it up together and I was going to hand it down to him. We put a small block and tranny in it a couple years ago but unfortunately, financially we were uable to finish it. I really hate to sell it but I desperately need the money and I'm forced to. The good: True SS (not a clone), 68,000 orginal miles (car odometer and title both reflect this), 350 small block, 350 tranny, 411 gear, 411 posi rear end, ALL orginal interior, orginal plastic wheel wells in the front, 4 core radiator, has orginal headlights with chevy bowtie emblem in them, front disc brakes, power brakes, manual steering. Stock hood (previous owner had cut a hole in it for a tunnel ram so I replaced it with a stock hood), Motor runs good. All interior is in great shape with the exception of the front passenger seat. The bad: Drive shaft is out of the car but I have it to go with it, the trunk and quarter panels are rusty, bad master cylinder, front passenger seat needs fixed (all the rest of the interior is in great shape), floor boards have surface rust from sitting with minor holes. I do have the rims that match the front, 29inch slicks. I will include if the price is right. It could easily be restored. I hate to see it go but I have no choice and I'm forced to sell.
