Vehicle Detail

This is a 1939 Packard Henney Hearse (rear loader only) Model 1701-A. It is in very nice condition, driven, not trailered, to many car shows, swap meets, concours, cruises and YES even used in over 15 services since May 1999, when I acquired it. I am not a mortician but I do donate it's use when appropriate. During the time I have owned this vehicle I have had the 286 cu. in. straight eight engine and 3 speed transmission completely rebuilt. The maroon interior has been completely redone and is very attractive. The following is a partial list of noteworthy items: Dual Fog/Driving lights, special accessory 3 bar front bumper with special accessory ( VERY RARE ) owner initials holder, front fender lights, Goddess of speed radiator ornament with etched glass wing, dual side mount covers with top mount mirrors, running board step plates with Packard emblem, dual stock door side mirrors, custom coolant recovery system (for pulling long grades without overheating), fully detailed engine compartment with chrome acorn head bolt nuts, dual 6 volt Optima batteries with series-parallel switch (starts on 12 volts, runs on 6 volts), 6 to 12 volt inverter for cell phone charging, original accessory clock in glove compartment door, operating custom tachometer, partially restored dash, dual - master disconnect switches (helps keep from draining the batteries and also a safety feature), special custom built oak roll-out cabinet behind the seats to store fluids, tools, cleaning items, etc. out of sight, custom built oak veneer roller table cover with spindle bar edge trim, chrome license plate trim, Coker 700R16 wide white wall radials mounted on special custom chrome wire spoke wheels with Packard hub caps, front window and side door window funeral car plaques, very rare drivers side accessory clip on "funeral" banner, flag holders on front bumper. Also included: 1939 shop manual, service bulletins manual, parts book, and also including a nice collection of interesting literature, tools, parts and fun misc. This vehicle has always been garaged since I have owned it. Has a block heater to keep the engine warm and the gaskets fresh during cold weather, not driven in foul weather, custom Oregon plates (can either leave them on or remove them after sale), has a clear title and is ready to roll for a proud new owner!! Sold As Is Where Is, No warranty Expressed or Implied
