I have had the car since 2002 and have spent over $100,000 in 10 years in modifying the car to be the ultimate commuter street racing machine. The car was always garage kept and maintained by performance shops. Only synthetic oil was used. The car runs very strong and straight. Drives very tightly and accelerates on demand. The HKS Twin Turbo does not lag like some big single turbo conversions. The automatic transmission has been upgraded to Sound Performance stage 2 which supports up to 1200 HP. All transmission related parts are beefed up and allows brake launch. You can research exactly what this upgrade means. Just about every part in this car has been upgraded or replaced. Currently the car is tuned to be a daily commuter with only 8 psi. I never tracked the car or abused it. The car was professionally tuned on a dynamometer. AAM Motorsport was responsible for most of the build and tuning. The car went through a complete body restoration that cost over $30,000 bare metal up restoration in 2008. The car was completely disassembled and sanded down and repainted and assembled. Europro in Gaithersburg did the restoration. You can check their reputation online.
