A TRUE 1969 GTO restored in 2012. This classic American muscle car was restored with many system upgrades and is a great driver. With a low reserve this car is available at a great value for the current market. Some of the system upgrades included in the restoration were: Ignition: Full HEI Distributor Cooling: Aftermarket aluminum radiator with 2 1" cores for better cooling Brakes: Power disc brake conversion kit for the front brakes with drilled and slotted rotors Starting: High torque mini starter Fuel System: New Edlebrock carb with electric choke Exhaust: Flowtech ceramic coated headers with 2.5 inch complete exhaust Suspension: Eibach 1.5" lowering springs The restoration included complete front end rebuild, all bushings, ball joints and steering components are brand new. The engine, which is a 400CI out of a 1968 model, was disassembled and resealed. A new Viton rear main seal was installed to replace the always leaking stock rope seals. The TH350 automatic trans is completely rebuilt with a new torque converter. New floor pans and truck pans were welded in and the complete interior is brand new. New front and rear seat upholstery, carpet, headliner, console and dash cover are new. Original Rally 2 wheels and brand new tires give the car a nice look and ride. The body work was professionally done and the is no more classic look for the GTO than the carousel red paint and Judge stripes. This is an original A/C car and all the original wiring is in the car and I have the original evaporator core to go with the car. Some minor details remain but the car is a reliable driver and a head turner any where it goes. This is a car you can take anywhere and be proud to own!!!!
