I HAVE OWNED THIS CAR SINCE JULY OF 1996 TITLE MILEAGE THEN WAS 50992. IT HAS NEVER BEEN DRIVEN IN ANYTHING BUT FAIR WEATHER. WORKING WITH CORVETTE AMERICA I CHANGED THE INTERIOR FROM ALL BLACK TO AS YOU NOW SEE IT IN THE PICTURES RED &WHITE. YOU CAN'T DRIVE AN ALL BLACK INTERIOR 454 CONV. IN THE SUMMER WITH THE TOP DOWN, WITHOUT RISKING HEAT STROKE! THE INTERIOR CHANGE MAKES THIS CORVETTE A PLEASURE TO DRIVE ALL SUMMER LONG,.JUST PUT THE AIR COND ON AND CRUISE. IN COMFORT. THE INTERIOR IS IN THE CORRECT 1971 PATTERN, THE COLORS ARE 1976 WHITE AND RED. THE RED DOOR PANEL INSERTS AND DOOR HANDLES ARE REAL LEATHER AS IS THE STEERING WHEEL. THE CARPET IS OYSTER COLOR AND HAS THAT HI TECH INSULATION TO CUT DOWN ON THE FURNACE UNDER YOU'RE FEET MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE. CAR HAD A FRAME OFF RESTORATION IN 1998.THE ENGINE AND DRIVE MECHANICS ARE ORIGINAL AND IN GREAT CONDITION. NOTICE HOW PREFECT THE SEAMS ARE BETWEEN BODY PANELS, UNUSUAL FOR THESE CARS TO HAVE SUCH A NICE FIT. THE TOP MIGHT BE ORIGINAL AND AS THE PICTURES SHOW IS IN NEAR PERFECT CONDITION..(ONLY PUT UP FOR PICTURES) NEW THIS YEAR ARE TIRES AND THE FRONT BRAKES PLUS MASTER CYLINDER. AIR BLOWS COLD AND STILL HAS R-12 FREON. CAR IS RUNNING ON ETHANOL FREE GAS, IT'S AVAILABLE IN GEORGIA ADDED IN ONE OF THE STORAGE BINS IS A BOSE RADIO FROM A CADILLAC, HAS FOUR SPEAKERS TWO IN THE REAR COMPARTMENT AND TWO IN THE FRONT KICK PANELS ,ORIGINAL RADIO STILL WAS WORKING WHEN I CHANGED OVER. THE LIGHT MONITORING FIBER OPTICS ON THE CENTER CONSOLE ARE NOT ALL LIGHTING.. CAR IS FOR SALE LOCALLY SO AUCTION MAY CLOSE EARLY . TITLE IS FROM NEW JERSEY ASK QUESTIONS AS I CAN'T REMEMBER EVERY DETAIL OF THIS CAR.
