RELISTING DUE TO A NON PAYING BIDDER. PLEASE DON'T BID ON THIS UNLESS YOU HAVE, OR CAN GET THE MONEY. BIDDER NEVER LOOKED AT THE TRUCK.1968 GMC / Chevrolet Truck. This truck received a nut and bolt frame off restoration 3 years ago. No expense was spared. It is titled as a 68 GMC, but I put a 68 front clip and tailgate off of a Chevrolet. Everything was taken off of frame, blasted primed and painted. It was put back together with great detail. A lot of money was spent on this truck. It would be hard to find a nicer one. Over 40K just in receipts. I have put almost 6K miles on this truck since rebuild, and I would drive it anywhere. I'm only selling to purchase a 1st gen Camaro. I’m sure that I’ve missed something. This guy just sent me a email with just about all of the questions that I have been asked. Hope this helps your decision on this truck, and if you have any other questions feel free to ask. Thanks. Neill: Very nice truck! If you don't mind, a couple questions. 1. Cam specs : Lunati Kit #65001LUN adv. duration 262 / 268 112 lobe separation 2. Heads? Valve size : Oval port heads (781 casting) standard valves matching springs 3 angle valve job, and 1.7 roller rockers. 3. Compression ratio : 9.5:1 Compression 4. What kind of rotating assembly is in it? Forged? : GM rotating assembly balanced by arrow machine. 5. Did you use GM bushings or something like Energy Suspension on the suspension rebuild? : All suspension products came from Early Classic. 6. What type of radiator are you running? Engine stays around 180-195 in the summer with AC running? : Engineered cooling products aluminum radiator with LS1 dual fans on adjustable thermostat. Never ran hot! 7. What carb and what is the CFM? : Quick Fuel 780 cfm 8. Mechanical or electric fuel pump? : Carter mechanical fuel pump. 9. I assume everything works? Wipers, turn signals, back uprights, etc? : Everything works great on the truck, with the exception of the wipers. They work great, but for some reason they started parking in the vertical position, so I just took the fuse out because I've only been caught in the rain twice in the truck. I just keep a fuse in the truck just incase. 10. What would I need to do to it to ensure solid, daily driver reliability? Anything?: I've drove the truck on 3 and 4 hour trips on the interstate, and I've been to rod runs in 100 degree temps, and I've never had the truck attempt to run hot, or give me any problems. I would drive it everyday. I have all of the receipts for just about everything on the truck. It is a very solid dependable truck. I drive it somewhere about every weekend. Thanks!!
