NO RESERVE!!!CALIFORNIA1954 CHEVROLET2104-DOORWOODY WAGON!CUSTOM AIRBRUSHING!CUSTOM PATINA!WIDE WHITE WALLS!VINTAGE WOOD SURF RACK!2 SURFBOARDS!BAGGED RESTOMOD LS1??COWABUNGA!SURF'S UP! Up for auction with NO RESERVE!!! is a beautiful patina'd 60's surf style 1954 Chevrolet 210 4-door Surf Wagon Tin Woody! This surf wagon has one of the coolest custom patinas out there! The custom turquoise patina blends in great with the off white top for a really classic surf wagon look. The car has had a custom airbrush faux wood design which really accents and compliments the custom patina awesomely well. The custom hand pin striping completes the look and sets off the whole car! It is incredibly tasteful and not overdone to give the right amount of accent and vibe to an already gorgeous surf wagon! The patina on the doors is broken up by custom airbrushing to show off a faux classic Hawaiian surf shop with correct period block lettering! Every time you take this surf wagon out for a cruise everyone wants to know where your surf shop is. The bumpers are original to the car and go very well with the patina woody surf wagon look. The chrome headlight trim rings have been replaced and the rest of the brightwork is original to the car and not restored to compliment the look. The glass on the car is in good condition all around and the back three pieces of glass have period correct surf stickers exactly like would have been done back in the 50's and 60's to enhance an already awesome beach cruiser! The custom wood surf rack is still very functional and included as well as the two surf boards. The boards are used for decoration to enhance the look and fit the surf wagon well but of course long boards would be more fitting :) The steel wheels with chrome trim rings, lug nuts, and wide white walls are in great condition and really set the car off! The tires are in almost new condition with maybe 1000 miles on them and plenty of tread. The headlights and high beams work as they should as well as the blinkers and brake lights. The interior is in good shape and believed to be mostly orig with optional period JCWhittney headrest. It has turquoise vinyl seats with accents of brown, wood and rattan throughout. The seats are all in good shape and the rear seats fold down as they should giving you ample room for long boards as well as short boards! The dash has a faux wood custom airbrush paint job done by the same artist who did the outside of the car to make sure the styles match correctly. It is accented by the same pin striper who did the exterior as well for the same reason and so as not to mesh styles and to preserve the same technique. The dash also has a hula girl in a grass skirt accent which really ties everything together. The dash is original and uncut. It retains all the original switches and chrome as wells as the original gauges and radio. The gauges need to be hooked up. The steering wheel is also original to the car. The car drives well but does have some play in the steering. The carpet is custom tan with green accents the goes really well with the theme of the car and the sex wax emblem hanging from the original rear view mirror is a nice touch. The door panels, kick panels and rear trunk side panels are all wood and feature hand burnt hot rod/surfin' culture pictures. The armrests are replacements as are all of the interior door handles and window cranks. The windows on all the doors roll up and down as they should. The headliner is in fair condition with a few fly aways around the windows and doors mostly. On the center section of the headliner various 1960's roadmaps of the U.S.A have been integrated to enhance the beach crusin, surf woody wagon, 50's & 60's theme and to help you find your favorite beach and surf spot. This is one touch I have never seen added to any car and really fits the theme. This surf wagon has the stock 235 straight six engine that has been rebuilt and always fires up and has never left me stranded. It makes great power and really adds to the originality of this surf wagon. It is attached to the stock 3-speed manual transmission and is the original 3-on-the-tree. The transmission is in good condition and functions as it should. It goes smoothly into all three gears and reverse and is not vague at all. The rear end is stock and functions as it should. The aluminum radiator provides excellent cooling. There is no worry at all of overheating sitting in traffic or stoplight to stoplight. The brakes have been redone and stop straight without any pulling to either side. They are stock 1950's technology so if you step on them hard they will lock up. If you were planning to make this you daily driver I would recommend a 4-wheel disc brake conversion however for cruising around they are great. The emergency brake is stock and original to the surf wagon and functions as it should. This car is the perfect candidate for a restomod if that is your style. My plan was to do a full airbag system, disc brake conversion on all four corners and do an LS1/3/7 conversion to make this the ultimate hot rod restomod surf woody wagon and in the end have a car worth huge money!!!. While I think that that would truly take it to the next level it is an awesome surf wagon as is and has given me a lot of enjoyment as such. If you don't like being noticed and having your picture taken this is not the surf wagon for you! Everywhere you go and every time you go out for a cruise all you get are honks of admiration and thumbs up from every one. It seems that just about every person loves this car young and old and it really brings a smile to peoples faces when they see it cruising down the road. It is truly unique and is at home at the beach, at car shows or just out for a Sunday cruise. It really captures a time in American history where everything was good and people were happy. This is so much more than a car, it's a piece of Americana. The best part is you can own this amazing surf wagon with NO RESERVE!!! Bid with confidence and be stoked when you see my feedback. Capture a piece of California and a piece of history, hang ten and cowabunga with this surf wagon! Surfs Up!
