This car was built in mid 90s to run the Pony Express and Silver State Classic races in Nevada and still be street legal. On paper the car was built to run over 200 mph. The builder told me he was clocked in Nevada race at 184 mph and decided that was fast enough. A complete frame off restoration was done. I am selling for a relative and will tell you what I see and know from talking to people involved in the build. Original 1969 L71 ... M21 ... F41 ... 4.10 posi car to start ... original riverside gold w/black standard interior ... have 1995 title search with copies of titles back to original owner ... GM L88/ZL1 hood ... 510 Donovan aluminum block ... NOS GM aluminum big port heads (ported by Bud Harper) ... Winberg crankshaft ... Oliver rods ... Diamond forged pistons ... solid roller cam ... roller rockers w/stud girdles ... GM aluminum intake ... Richmond 6 speed ... 3.08 ring and pinion (with low 1st gear ratio overall is like 4.10). I have briefly driven this car and it is OVER THE TOP. Over $80K ($30K plus in engine alone) in parts and materials was put into car not including the labor hours which were very high. I know the car was trailered to Nevada twice after completion to run the aforementioned races and Bloomington (where it won Mild to Wild class) in the mid 90s. After that the car was taken to a few car shows locally and that is about it. I has been sitting covered in a finished walk-out basement for years and I would bet it hasn't been driven 2000 miles since completion.
