1965 AMC Marlin This is a 1965 AMC Marlin 327 v8 factory 4 barrel automatic with power disk brakes & Power Steering non a/c with factory bucket seats Console & floor shift. An original California car with the Black & Yellow plates. I believe it is 134k just because it would be hard to believe it was 34k although it was a barn yard find. The engine was cleaned and painted when the engine compartment was done. The Marlin has a new paint job inside all jams and exterior Allis Chalmers Orange & Charcoal Metallic Mist. (was originally red and black) A real head turner. It has a new headliner & the seats and arm rests have all been rebuilt and reupholstered in vinyl and black tweed. The dash had a few cracks but were repaired when the interior was done. The car has great tires and aluminum polished slot mags, also all new shocks. Has a Kenwood cd player, All the glass is in good condition and unlike a lot of these o'l marlins its not a rust bucket. All the doors, hood and trunk shut solid and effortlessly. The car does need some of the weather striping, I also have the original air breather that comes with it but right now it has a holly carburetor so it does not fit right, also I think the holly is to big for it and over carburates it. Everybody that sees it loves it and most of them ask What Is It :) Between 1965 & 1966 AMC only produced 14,874 What a Classic, In the back picture there is a little bobble head dog & the o'l guy I got the car from said he had been in there for over 20 years So he has to go with the car :) This is an excellent lil car just keep in mind it is 48 years old and not new.
