Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my 2001 Honda Civic GX CNG 4-Door. If you don't know about the GX, this is a Natural Gas vehicle. I typically fill up for about $2.00 a gallon at PG&E. I use the app FuelFinder on my phone to find pumps and if you live in the SF Bay Area, there is PLENTY! I even just drove to Southern California, filling up in Bakersfield and at a Shell Station in San Juan Capistrano. At $2.00 a gallon and 35-38 mpg on the freeway, this car will save you a ton of money. It is also the only non-electric vehicle that qualifies for the HOV stickers in California, which means you can beat traffic using the commute lanes and half off bridge tolls. This car will instantly make your commute easier and cheaper. Do your research and you will see that servicing the fuel filters and fuel injectors is typically the most expensive maintenance these cars will ever need and I just replaced those last year, with the documents to prove it. So, this car is ready for another 90k miles. The body has its share of nicks and dings, but no major dents. You can see the most visible body dings are on the driver's side front fender. I'm sure they would take minimal effort to remove, maybe even one of those suction cups, but frankly I never bothered because this was my commuter. Beyond that, I had a brake inspection done last Spring and had 80% left on the pads. The inspector noted some rust on the front right rotor, but its not a safety issue. (The previous owner lived by the ocean in Washington state.) The car itself runs great and has been a reliable commuter for the past year. The cassette player still works and the AC is ice cold. Why am I selling it? Because I bought another one. We upgraded to a 2011 Honda CNG after my family started driving this more and more because it saves so much money. Feel free to email me any questions or if you need photos or video of anything else. Its been a great little car for me. I just don't need two of them.$500 deposit is REQUIRED within 5 days from the end of the auction via PayPal. If you decide for some reason not to purchase it, I will refund the deposit minus the $125 Ebay listing fee.
