We offer a red 1966 Mustang assembled in San Jose, CA. It is a 2 door hardtop with red interior. The door panels have been painted black to match other trim in the car with some small trim pieces still in white. The exterior paint is good to very good. It has some very minor chips and scratches as you would expect with a car of this age. It shines nicely and looks great. We drive it often and have taken it on two 700 mile plus trips without any problems. The engine runs quiet and strong. The shock towers have no rust in them. We just had the front springs, spring perches and upper spring pads replaced as the originals were getting a little weak. In general the car is in very good condition. There is a minor leak of transmission fluid on the drivers side where the cooling lines connect to the transmission. Other than that it does not leak fluids. We keep it garaged when not in use. Current milage reading is 40122. It is unknown if that is original milage. It may increase slightly with test drives for bidders. Great to drive and a head turner. You will enjoy the car as we have. Then why sell it you ask? Well we have 16 classic cars and at this point it is a little much. We are paring down a little to make our "fun" more manageable. Please contact me with any questions you may have. We will deliver the car up to 300 miles and if you like we could go farther for an additional $1 per mile beyond that, up to 500 miles. You may come and pick the car up if you like or you can arrange shipping. A $500 deposit is required either way prior to delivery with full payment in cash on arrival.
