1966 Ford Mustang Coupe- This car runs great and looks good. It has the 289 with a 3 speed manual on the floor. Exterior: The paint is the second paint job, is still shiny and is about 20 years old. There are some scratches and chips, but no dents in car. The chrome is excellent, shines well and all emblems are intact and in good condition. There is no rust in the trunk, floor pans or frame rails and only some very light surface discoloration as seen in photos. The lower area of the rear quarters is the only area that I have seen any rust repair and its not bad. It would be best to have it redone, since it was not a good job. Car is close to original and matching numbers. Engine, transmission, rear-end, brakes, bushings were all rebuilt to factory specs. New gas tank. Carb was sent out to be rebuilt/not replaced. Original interior was not bad, but I replaced carpet, dash-pad and reupholstered seats. Runs, shifts and drives nicely. I purchased this car from the second owner and planned on keeping, but economy dictates the sale. Interior: Dash, carpet, seats are all replaced/reupholstered and door panels look good. The dash face, controls and radio are all original. Manual included. I can take any photos that you request and happy to answer any questions. After redoing the interior, I really don't want to sell, but my loss is your gain. Gets a lot of looks due to it's originality. On Oct-07-13 at 13:10:20 PDT, seller added the following information: Hi, Realized that I put 139,400 miles, but it's 136,400 miles. In addition there is a new radiator and exhaust. The manifolds are original. Getting a lot of emails and I will try to answer everything quickly and accurately. Car was garaged and stays garaged.
