Vehicle Detail

350 V8, 2 barrel carb, automatic. 100% stock and original. Power steering and brakes. 52,024 original miles, previous owner can back that up. Runs and drives good, even drives smooth at highway speeds. could use a tune up and some exhaust work. All lights work, interior is original and in very good condition. Body is original and getting rough. Drive as is or restore. Will need right quarter panel, everything else can be patched/repaired. Solid floors and frame. Gas gauge is questionable and AM radio lights up, but does not work. This 2 owner truck was originally bought by a motorcycle shop in Kalamazoo as their shop truck. They never lettered it and it still has original paperwork, protect-o-plate, even key chain. The shop was Milwood Cycle Shop Inc. which sold Honda, Triumph, and BMW motorcycles. Later the shop only carried bicycles until closing in the mid 2000's. They apparently transferred the title into private ownership in 2006 and finally sold it this past March to a bed & breakfast owner. This truck only has 52,024 actual miles per the only two owners. The brake drums were turned for the first time this year, brake lines and tires were also replaced. I bought this for $3800 with intentions of either having the doors lettered out with the cycle shop name, or doing the bodywork and selling for $10,000 in the spring. But I have my eye on other things so I just want my money back. I checked parts prices and you can get the right quarter from Original Parts Group (OPGI.com) for $218. Other small repair panels are available too. This is a great platform for either a stock restoration, modify it, or leave it alone, heck, drop a modern LS1 drive train in it. This is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time if sold. So far I've received a lot of trade offers that are mostly trading down, I only trade up or even.. I've set my reserve slightly below what I've got into it. This car has been explained to the best of my knowledge, AS IS - No warranty $250 deposit due within 48 hours of auction end. The rest in cash or wire transfer between banks. No zero feedback or new user bids without calling/texting me first 269-270-8188 On Oct-02-13 at 04:55:24 PDT, seller added the following information: I'm not a dealer, just a guy with a hobby of finding driver quality affordable classics.
