If your looking to get out of a car and get into an SUV, I highly recommend this for your first and last. This State of Maryland, State Highway Administration (SHA) vehicle shows that it is lightly used and it is in great shape! INTERIOR: This interior is in incredible shape, the seats look like only one person sat in the vehicle. I have not seen any stains anywhere. Everything works! I pushed every button and turned every dial and everything did work. The A/C was very cold and the radio sounds great. Usually these state vehicles are beaten and tattered, not this one. When they convert them back to stock, usually things are all cut and ripped out, everything has been uninstalled and installed properly. This Explorer was nice. EXTERIOR: The body is in great shape. The tires are even and barely even worn. The paint is in great shape and I have not seen any dents or dings. This vehicle was cared for. The back glass hatch has a crack in it, usually this is from it being shut too hard. The rear wiper does work. In fact all the wipers look almost new. MOTOR/HANDLING: This Ford starts right up and takes you anywhere you want. I have driven this for 2 weeks and I have not had any surprises and nothing has changed. It is normal for routine maintenance to be thorough and on time for these state vehicles. The millage did not discourage me at all. I would think there are only 60k miles on it. I highly suggest you drive this vehicle yourself before you develop an opinion. The steering was smooth and the brakes work great. Also, the 4 wheel drive high and low work great, I can feel the smooth transition! The motor sounds great and the fluids look fresh! All in all this Explorer is like brand new and it’s obvious that these are highway miles. Vehicles are getting bigger and bigger these days. I am not comfortable driving a car anymore. Ford is known to be built tough and proven to be safe. I have never had any complaints and I would drive this across the country! Thank you for looking and happy bidding!
